Finally I could get my gals a new tank:

Not all of the fixings are in there yet. I got another dock for them, and I need to rearrange the lighting.

Congrats on the upgrade but I think you need a better stand. With the tank hanging over like that, it could cause it to leak, or even crack from the stress. The entire length and width of the tank should be supported.

If that was me, I'd drain that tank ASAP and get a proper stand. Definitely not a good idea to have a tank overhanging like that.

Sweet upgrade. You can pick up a tank stand for about 50bucks from bigals. You could also buy a few cinder blocks and place a board over them to make a stand. Hate to see that awesome tank get a crack in it.

Beautiful new tank! Definitely get a stand to support it. You don't want 55 gals on your floor (believe me....I've had this happen before).

Haha, don't worry. That's not permanent. It was only like that because my other tank was on the stand. It's all good now.
