Well since I'm all new and I figured it'd be best to break my cherry early.
Here's a collection of photos I've taken of my guys overtime.

My first setup, left side is handbuilt and about 300 pounds of sand firmly secured with a lot of stuff that would take forever to explain*taken about 2 years ago* 100gallon
Image
Same as above, just can be seen clearer*taken 2 years ago*

Current Setup without all the goodies inside*taken 1 month ago* 100gallon
Image
Frontal Angel*1 month ago* Did I mention I rebuilt the left side of my aquarium about 5 months ago. Basically I constructed it out of gravel, silicon, and two sheets of custom cut glass....oh and the bottem retains rather large jet black polished river rocks. :)

Well I hope you enjoyed the pictures, sorry about the poor quality (camera) and sorry about posting so many of them, I tried not to post too many but... :(

wow... nice looking turtles. How big were they when you got them?? Because it sure does look like they grew a lot since that first picture you took of them :)

Just a thought on the quantity of pictures. You may want to find a site to post them.. like photobucket or Yahoo. Kind of keeps the loading time down for those who don't have high speed internet :) (that's just my opinion)

They were both 3.25 inchs in caraspace length when I bought them. Imageshack is actually the best imagehosting service available, I just accidently forgot to shrink one of my pictures. And yes those were baby common goldfish in my aquarium, they truly brought my aquarium alive. :)

Just to warn you, goldfish shouldn't be kept with turtles. The turtles will eat them at one point, it's a very unhealthy food. I use minnows and guppies :)

Goldfish are considered the "junkfood" of the turtle realm. Way too fatty to be good for them. :)

They weren't food, none of them were ever eaten. And common goldfish aren't to be fed to your turtles because they lack nutrition and carry lots of diseases since they are kept in horrible conditions. They can only become a fat issue if you constantly stuff your turtles with them which I've never have, even as a little boy. An in addition, if you really look at the pictures its almost impossible for my turtles to catch any of the fish since they have so much more room to move around. The aquarium is 5 ' by about 2 '. Also, the best minnows for your turtles are fathead minnows, well they are simply the best and are relatively stupid, have a horrible memory, and if you don't directly feed them to your turtle they are naturally pink so they're easy to catch. But, they shouldn't be the main concentration of their diet. Guppies.... don't feed guppies to anything unless you want problems.
I've been doing this stuff since I was a little boy, I don't mean to argue whatsoever.

Ok, are fathead minnows the same as rosey red minnows? Most of us agree that fish aren't to be the stable of a turtles diet .. just so you know.. :)
