Cute turtles. :) So sorry to hear about Chompers, though. What "turtle lotion" are you using? That Yellow-belly is adorable.

My goodness, that yellow belly is so darn tiny. I thought mine were small but that's even smaller. Some really cute pictures there :)

Well, this has been discussed before in another thread, but Vitashell really isn't a very good thing to use on your turtle's shell. It's oil-based and over time can clog the shell, which needs air to breathe. Take a look at http://chemistry.lsu.edu/bz/bz/cupcake.html for a former user's opinion on the product. I'm not saying this will happen to your turt, but why use it if your turtle's shell is healthy...

I Think That was because it looked to me like the date on the photos was 1996 in that time tetra I believed has changed the fourmula for there vitaShell.

Why do you think so? Earlier this year, a member who treated a rescued turtle for shell rot said it had been made worse by the use of the product...

Really? I use it every week & my turtle seams to having no trouble with the vitashell in fact I thint it has helped shell mature from the young light green to the current brown it is now.
