They're looking great! Do you have easy access to all those turtle supplies in the Philippines?

No, it's almost impossible. That's why they had that small basking platform for too long. We have replaced it now; we actually built a new one since the one you see there was ordered from the US and it took two months to get here and we paid $32 for the shipping (item price was $7) and it was too small by the time it got here. It's also impossible to get UVB light anywhere (you'd think that in a city with 10+ million...?!) but luckily we have a penthouse deck so we take them outside when the sun shines. :) I think they're doing fine, considering! I'm planning to buy a bigger tank end of month and then maybe order a big shipment from America including lights, platforms and whatnot.

ei keith! kababayan! your turtles are looking good!

it was almost a year since i ordered 2 repti-glo 2.0 on reptile supply.com for my stewie and olivia.

late last year, a famous petshop here in cebu started selling uvb bulbs and fixtures. maybe you could come here for a short vacation and stop by Piper's for the supplies.

they sell different kinds of turtle food too!

...and good job with the tank, by the way. i like it.
Everything I own is on my back, and suffice it is to say I am one ton lighter and therefore 2,000 pounds happier. All houses are gone.
