Here are some Pictures of my 50Gal+ Red Ear Slider Tank. Yes, the water is starting to get dirty which I may clean later this week.

So, Here is the Tank its self. You can see my Turtles in some of the shots.

Here You can see some Bins under the Stand. I have some Small Rock that I was going to use in one of the bins and just some water in another i use to clean stuff off with before putting it in the tank.

the tank itself seems fine. youmay want to look into getting a larger tank since you have 3 turtles and they are gonna need it b4 you know it. and id considered upgrading filtration. maybe get the largest power filter you can or even a canister
65 Gallon

Canisters can get pricey but besides a wet dry trickle filter they are the best on the market

In the meantime, try doing water changes a bit more frequently, the water should definitely not be that dirty. Very unhealthy for the turtles, as they have to drink that water.

As i found in another thread, It is not very dirty water at all, it is from the WOOD i just added a few days before. I forgot what its called but its a chemical that wont hurt the turtles at all but just makes the water a "tea" color. which is exactly what it looks like. But i am going to change the water and do a little decor anyway here in a day or so if not today.

and thanks for the other comments :D they are cute little buggers! :D

I believe the word you are look for is "tannin". Boiling the wood before putting it back in the tank and using carbon in you filter should help.

They so cute! So then it wont be a problem me having one hatchie in a 55 gal, right? XD

Oh, and also, the water looks a little murky. But maybe that's just the fact of the wall behind, or the pic, but, i dont know.

Try craigslist or kijiji or the like. I got my 2 fluval 405 for 60$ and 20$. They never had any problem-malfunction whatsoever, plus they had all the filtration material already (it can be quite pricey bought separately).
