I've finally been able to move Zipper out of her 20 gallon tank into a nice, new 75 gallon after I finished building a new shelf to support it. I got it set up over the weekend and now I need to build a new ATBA for it. And she seems to like her new submarine decoration quite a bit. :D

Nice! She'll be happy in there!

Only thing - you will want to build a bit of a "wall" around the basking area. Turtles are excellent climbers, and it looks like she should easily escape via the basking dock.

Agreed! So far she hasn't made any attempts but the tank is about half an inch away from the wall so she really wouldn't have anywhere to go but back in the tank. I have a sheet of plexiglass i can just lay up there for the meantime to be safe until I get the basking area built.

And she does seem quite a bit happier in there. She swims around quite a bit and likes to crawl inside of the plants under her dock and just hang out. :D

Nope. It kinda looks like it does though from the picture. lol Those are just some air bubbles that were stuck on the side of the tank.

Yeah, it was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying one from the store. And this way I could make sure that it would be sturdy enough to hold all of that weight. Stuff at the store just looks way too flimsy for me.

Just don't try and bite at it like Zipper did! lol :D

I found it at Petco if you are curious at all.

Man, that stand is perfect. Are you sure you did it yourself? Hehe just kidding :)

By the way, if you'd put my turtles in your tank, all the rocks and decorations on the bottom will be "rearranged" and your tank will look like a tsunami just hit it. I gave up trying to fix the decorations long ago. :D I just throw them in the tank and the turtles decide what's their proper place.

lol Thanks, and yes I built it. :D

And I know what you mean! Mine does the same thing. At night sometimes I'll hear the clunking of rocks being moved around and I'll wake up in the morning to find rocks in different piles or plants somewhere else in the tank.

I didn't purchse it anywhere although I guess you could say it came from Home Depot or Menards since that's where I got the lumber and stuff for it. lol I didn't buy one at a store for exactly the reason of store stuff being hugely overpriced.
