i havent been on here in awhile.. I have had Speedy for about 6 months and slow poke for about 5, i had bought two turtles speedy and tuck and tuck passed so i took him back to the pet store and they gave me his "replacement" which i named slow poke.
Speedys gotten huge! slow poke is growing slowly but he has a bit of a deformity so im guessing thats why. hes got a soft spot on the bottom of his shell which i believe is to do with the yolk sac when he was a baby, it hasnt shrunk but it hasnt grown so im not too worried about it anymore just nothing pointy and hard in the tank. He also has always swam crook-id.
When i got them i only had a 29g tank and since then i got a killer deal from my brothers friend on a 120g tank for 150 bucks.

anyways heres some pictures of "boys" even if i dont know their sexes yet.

It works just fine when I copy paste the links here in my post. I don't know why. Filter or something probably.
Nice pics by the way.

Your post had BBcode turned off, which is why the pics didn't show up.

As for the diet, just reduce the amounts of pellets and increase the amounts of veggies. If they are kept together and fed together, one will usually out-compete the other. Other people in your place might also sneak extra food to them... it's hard for an untrained person to resist a begging RES :)

That is a big problem at my house!
My whole family cannot resist when Bowser does "swim swim" (swimming from side to side to beg for food) when they walk into the room.
We've had to set up some rules about how much and when they can feed her. :o

I sorted pellets into pill boxes and said they can be given what's marked for that day. I would be giving them less than normal but to make up for it, I knew someone would feed them whats in the box. I didn't want people in the family to feel like they couldn't take part in their care :)

Separating them in pill boxes is what I do makes it a lot easier in the morning for me and I feed him the same amount every other day.
