This is Peanut, he's a Black Knob Map Turtle (Graptemys Nigrinoda Nigrinoda)

Got this little guy earlier this morning. He arrived and straight out the box was extremely active. Already ate for me and is now basking. Here's a few pics of the little cutie.

Still has a little bit of a yolk sac scar, just about all healed up.

I shopped around for awhile because i wanted one of these guys really bad. Common price range for these guys were $250-300 a pc, some a bit lower and some alot more. And then i found this add, so I got them for an awesome deal.

Breeder was excellent to deal with. Turtle came in perfect shape, loads of energy and even ate right out of the box. The breeder even shipped some hatchling food packets with it. If your looking to get one of these little guys, these are perfect. Someone else from another forum got 3 from him the same day i did and hers are absolutely perfect too.

Ya it takes them a good ammount of time before that happens tho. Just give it to a zoo after that :D
