be careful of those little marbles in the tank, they look like the perfect size to be a choking hazard for your turtles.

i've had them in there for about 3 years. my turtles don't seem to be interested in eating them, i feed them properly with turtle sticks. they kick those marbles around when they're hungry lol. thanks for your concern though!

They look very shy :)

But I would remove them too, even if they never shown interest in them.

the pet store i bought them at told me gravel is dangerous for the turtles, so i bought marbles instead. my turtles pooped out little rocks for the first few days i had them. the marbles are too big to fit in their mouths, yet alone swallow them, i promise they're in good care

most of them do look too big, but there are a few that are small enough to fit in. Their small size is what makes them dangerous, because they're small enough to fit into your turtles' mouths but not small enough to pass through their bodies. Since they've been in there a while, I'd recommend sifting through and making sure they're all still the right size.

Is spongebob male or female? I'm curious because its nails look a little long for a female

I think someone made a mistake on what turtle species they have =P Any chance you could take full side photo of the head of your ybs. What I can see of his head looks like no yellow blotch and the top shell pattern is that of a Florida Red-Belly Turtle. I think you have a Florida Red- Belly and not a YBS, just want a good side shoot of his head to confirm.

Yep that is def a Florida Red-Belly =P And be thankful he look to be male looking at claws maybe. Florida Red Belly females can get up to 16inches but male florida red belly still get large too, they can get about the size of a female res 11inches.

Nice matching poses, but it's possible they have the incorrect picture. What they don't clearly show are the shell markings, which is why I think DB4L is correct.

Shell markings, and side of the head is how you tell. As steve said it actually looks like they might have wrong photo. Look at pics of ybs, ybs all have giant splotch of yellow behind their head like a res and their red. I can post your turtle on another forum to second opinion if you like.
