I tried introducing my little dude to a wee bit of veggies the last two days and he seems to love them so far! I had read about people with some pretty picky turtles so I just wanted to test the waters. Also, as I was getting up earlier he was basking and didn't fly into the water when I moved! I even had time to snap a couple pics. There not the best because I was using an iPad and I had injured hand, but here they are. Hopefully before long he'll let me get even closer.

Any idea why my pictures are showing up upside down?? I used photo bucket and when I look at the pic on there and copy the link the picture is right side up!

It looks right to me. Mac OS/Chrome/Safari. Glad to know he's adjusting very well, sounds like you're both off to a great start

You may want to think about investing in a canister filter soon. Check amazon and e-bay.. I think I bought mine from Dr. Smiths for $159.00 a few weeks ago and it is good for up to 175 gallons.

I bought him a veggie clip today and he demolished a good size piece of green leaf lettuce. I was impressed! This is all that was left...
