hope you enjoyed those! btw, how do you guys get those awesome underwater shots, any tips, or do yall just have nice cameras?

Those are awesome pics! I haven't been able to get shots of my turts basking since I first put the basking dock in. They enjoyed it so much they wouldn't move...now they are back to being scared.

As for the underwater shots, I find that macro mode without the flash works best. But if you go without the flash the camera has to be really steady. Other than that, with me it is just trial and error...repeat.

ooo i hate when my turtle moves when im trying to take a picture. and today he freakin bites my arm continuously while im trying to adjust his rocks.

yea alvie is always scurryin off, but if i'm quiet and slow enough sometimes i catch him. thats part of the fun though.

hehe i found out from the vet that he was unhealthy as a newborn before i owned him, but now he's in tiptop shape, so i think thats what accounts for the shell pattern. regardless i think he's pretty adorable! ;p
