Where did you get that basking area?? Is that real wood? Also, how do your beta and the turt get along?? What size tank do you have? Sorry for all the questions but i'm just curious!!!

Thanks. The basking area is a ceramic aquarium piece, fake rock with fungal shelves and barnacles. The betta fish and the turtle get along ok. The turtle doesn't actually even notice the betta fish, but the fish kind of follows him around, not flaring up, just following. Probably because the turtle is better at begging for food.
The tank is 40g, filled probably 80%.

i noticed u have a black ghost fish. i dont think it is a good idea to have black ghost, betta, and a RES in the same tank. i know black ghosts grow pretty big and give off electric shocks.,

Ah yes electric shocks aren't good.

That is too cute! I like how, halfway through the video, he gets up on his basking rock and sort of looks at the camera.

True, there's a black ghost in the tank as well. However, the black ghost fish is what is classified as a 'weakly electric' fish, in that it uses its impulses primarily for navigation and, interestingly, communication with other ghosts. His shock is less than a volt, not even enough to phase the feeder fish. However, I am worried about him getting too big for the tank eventually.

That's awsome! I'm always amazed at how they can climb up an almost vertical wall.
I love the music you have with it, and especially the music with the vid of the black knife :)

I went up close. I was just using a cheap digital camera, so it doesn't have any zoom.
