Hi everyone! I took some pics of my res. His name is Gandalf the Green-aka Turty (lol). He's around 4 years old and is about 5" (he won't sit still for me to get accurate measurements and he tries to bite the measuring tape (along with my fingers)! haha I am in the process of making some minor changes to his home, thanks to all the helpful advise I've read in many of your posts (thank you!). I'll post some pics when I'm finished with it. Can anyone tell me how to make the pictures smaller? I apologize for the giant sizes, I guess Turty wanted to make a BIG impression!

Thanks so much! I'll let him know you said so! He likes to ham it up with the camera. I tried not to use the flash, I didn't want to blind him, but they came out way too blurry when I tried. Turned out the flash fascinated him and he followed it as I moved it around in front of his home! If someone knows if this is bad for his eyes, please let me know, I don't want to cause him harm. I just can't believe I never took pictures of him before. I had nowhere to post them until I found this site yesterday. I had NO IDEA there were this many turtle owners out there! I'm so ecstatic!

BEautiful!!!! I have tried like crazy to get pics of my babies but they hide as soon as someone is near.

What site did you use to host your pictures? I use photobucket, and the images can be made smaller by using the edit button with each pic. Just make sure that you don't go too small, once the pic has been edited you can't be made bigger again. (Unless you upload it again...)

Thank you all for the nice compliments! I used Photobucket but didn't realize I could edit them. Thanks for the info, I will edit any new pics I post so they don't take up the whole screen lol!

I know, I thought the same thing, but it was his first photography session, lol. He is extremely curious. Especially lately, because I have been making changes a little at a time to his home. I'm hoping to have it all finished by the weekend, then I'll post some more pictures. The only thing left will be to upgrade his tank size. I took a more accurate measurement, and he's 4" and in a 35 gallon right now. I'm keeping my eye out for a nice 75 or 90 gallon tank for a good price.
