Those are nice pictures. Do you have any of the whole set up, or is it like the older one, just bigger?

You will want to be careful of the size difference between the two. Sometimes bigger turtles can unknowingly harm the smaller ones. It's also good to quarantine new turtles for at least 90 days, just in case they may be sick and hiding their symptoms.

He's adorable!

I've added a lot... a second filter, water heater, more places to hide, plants... I'll post more pictures later.

I've already noticed some bullying and I'm going to seperate a section of the tank from the rest so it can feel safer.

Yeah they're both cute BUT... I agree with Missi 100%, Its not a good idea to have a small turtle in with a larger turtle. They can accidentally drown or hurt the smaller one. Plus you should have quarantined the new turtle for 60-90 days because of diseases and parasites that it could pass on to the other turtle.

I'd enter the first pic in the contest! That is adorable. It reminds me of a song my husband has by Vanity Fare "Hitchin a Ride".

(Now I'll never get that tune outta my head!!)

So that's who sang that song! Someone gave me a CD with that song on it, but I had no idea who sang it. Anyway, really nice pictures, I agree that you should enter them into the photo contest.

I think I would be worried about your bigger turtle (and maybe the smaller one too) possibly eating the gravel and becoming inpacted though.
