I think my little turtle is shedding at its shell cause some parts of it is white but I cannot tell cause I have never seen a turtle shedding before.

So if it is possible can someone show me what a shedding turtle shell looks like or shedding anywhere?

ok, I'll see if I can take a picture of its shell, although it might not be clear. I'll take one as soon as it starts to bask.

Taking the picture when the shell is dry would show more. Are the edges of the scutes that are white lifting up at all?

Sorry it took so long to get these pictures up. My turtle didn't want to bask for the longest time. I hope you guys can tell me what is going on with its shell with this picture. Oh and the close up of the picture make it look worst then it is. From regular eye view its hard to notice unless he bask.

It looks normal to me, but you should check it every day to make sure that it is normal shedding. Cute guy too!

What a sweet little kid! He's so young that his shell still has it's "dimpled" appearance. :)

Your turtle's shell looks very normal in the picture. As the shell peels, the edges do stick up a little bit (especially when the turtle dries off). Nothing to worry about.
