That's a lot of pics! Nice looking turtle. His coloring looks quite light (or is that just in the pics)?

I'm not sure of his age. I got peanut since he was a hatchling, and I kept him for 3 years so he is 3 years old???

Does he ever scratch himself? My girl sometimes wipes her face, and Im always afraid she will scratch her eye... she doesn't do it all the time though.

Peanut sometimes rubs his eyes when it gets itchy but not frequently. He even bites his own legs!

don't have to worry about them scratching their faces.. (i hope). i think mostly they use the back of their hands to wipe theire faces reather than their claws.

i know my Diesel always wipes her face. she does it mostly when waking up. I wonder if it's a human trait:P. she'll wake up and then rub her eyes with her hands to .. i don'tknow.. just wipe them. you know like we do when we wake up. nothing more amusing to watch her wake up. her head down, than slowly the eyes open a little. wipe left, wipe right. stretch, than open mouth wide for a huge yawn.. than maybe another wipe and then swim or walk around
