Here are a few pictures of some of the baby turtles rescued by user "george" ( you can read his story
here http://www.redearslider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6922 I took 15 of them, two of which have been adopted, and 4 more will
soon have new homes!

Belive it or not, they can actually climb up that wall out of the water thats higher than they are long.

See what i mean? We had to add that cardboard to keep them from escaping.

I named this one "Crush" because he hung on to that lilly pad with one arm for several mins as it went around the pond, and adrenaline
junkie just like the one from Finding Nemo.

I'm finishing the whole setup tomorrow, so ill have more pictures of the babies and the "pond" when im done, hope you like them!

Those pictures are so freaking funny and cute. I love the second one, he's stretching out saying "Almost.... Can... See... Out!" Great pictures.

Now let me ask this one, the container you have them in... Is a giant turtle isnt it? :) I used to play in one of those way way back.

Yes it is, big green turtle-shaped sandbox, its absolutely perfect for the little guys.

I think I just fell in love with every one of them. I swear hatchlings are SO FREAKIN ADORABLE!!

Thank goodness I live too far away from you to take any, my husband would have a hernia and not let me near your place hehe
