Here's an example of what goes on, day in, day out:
B.D.: "flutter-flutter."
Beaker: "Not now, B.D., I have to go dig in the rocks!"
5 minutes later.....
B.D.: "Hey sweetheart, hows about you and me head over to the pipe for a little one on one?"
Beaker: "Not now, B.D., can't you see I'm busy?"
5 minutes later.....
B.D.: "flutter flutter."
Beaker: "Look buster, if you want to keep those claws, you better knock it off!"
B.D.: "Gulp."
5 minutes later....
B.D.: "Look Beaks! I'm swimming sideways! I'm swimming sideways!"
Beaker: "Sigh. I'm going basking."
B.D.: "Can I come?"
Beaker: "NO!!!!"
And so it goes.....
Meanwhile, in the 55 gallon tank, little Gomie is having a very nice time of it, dining on the patio.....
Not being too agressive. He's like a little puppy dog, following her around, trying to get noticed. You can tell from their body langauge what's really going on, LOL!
That's why I didn't worry too much cause he was being a "gentleman" about it. Also she could defend herself pretty well if she had to.
