i am new to tutles. read my hello and you will know the storey. anyway shelly is what i call her but now i am thinking she is a he. after having her for about a month i got her a friend. i thought i got her a boy but now i don't know. shelly has shorter nails then mike. there shells are the same size. shelly has a stunpy tail and mikes is long. when i put mike in she starting fanning him. i thought that the male does that. also shelly has this black thing sticking out of her what i thought was her vajayjay. now i am so confused.can you please help me find out what they are.[/img]

Well if shelly did that to mike then she is a boy.If shelly has really long nails that it also is a another sigh that shelly is a boy.Girls have a long skinny tail and short nails.In my thought I think mike is a girl

How big are your turtles, by the way (inches from front of shell to back)?

Shelly is Mike and MIke is shelly LOL , well, at least you have the couple

Can you post pics of the front nails and of the cloaca (the underside of the tail)?

the only thing that i am very confused about is that what i thought was mike has longer nails then what i thought was shelly. i thought that the male has the long nails? i would post pics but i can figure out how. i will try to add them to my profile.
