the other day i was walking home from a firends along the l;ocal creak more like a small river and i fdound this log that cought my eye it was about 25+ plus turtles basking on a huge log but the where all monsters
the thing that startled me most was the one res was so big it was at least 16inches plus well over a foot and ahalf the shell alone was about a foot long i never seen or heard of a res so big it has to eb realy realy old im gunan try and get a picture of it this weekend

Cool! I love seeing wild turtles basking in their natural environment. :) Are you sure they were RES? I thought RES were mostly found in ponds or still water. They could be cooters which do get bigger than RES.

hmm mybe it was huge ill have to see but im sure i saw the red ears thats the slider are know for

the creak as they say is very slow moving has no current almost but it slowly dumps out intot he delaware riverbut thats miles and miles down the line
and we have sliders i see them slidding in from the banks i saw alot of painteds aswell and theres is the one turtle thats was all black with a red under belly

Wow, I wish I lived near there! Must be nice to see all those turtles as you walk by. :D
