Is turtle vision sort of like a frog? Like they only see movement?

When I go in front of Serra's tank without her looking and just sit there without moving she won't even notice me. Then, if I move a bit she gets scared and tries to torpedo out the glass! Then, she peeks out and starts begging.

So, do turtles only see movement?

I know that turtles can sense uv ray presence with their eyes.

Here's a site I found with google:

They see colors. They have excellent vision, especially at a distance, but I don't think what Serra is doing is that unusual. It just sounds like your movement startled her and by instinct she tried to escape. Then she realized it was you and food came to mind. :)

Yes, they do have great vision at a distance. Sheba can spot ONE blueberry in my hand from all the way across the room! LOL!
