I love how I my turtle wants to have a love/hate relationship with me. She loves me cause I have food, but sometimes wants to try and get far away from me. One time, when I was desperate for her to nest, I took her to the beach and all she wanted to do was dash off into the water. When a stranger would walk by, she'd scramble back to me and try to wedge herself in between my feet. Once the person was gone, she'd run off again
