where did everyone get their turtles? i live in ohio and the venders need a special license to sell them. im just not sure where to go. is it safe to get them online? its almost impossible to find them.

I'm not in the states so I can't be of too much help. Generally, purchasing online is fine as long as you're dealing with someone that knows what they're doing.

BTW, I bought mine while on vacation in Florida at a souvenir shop having no idea what I was getting into. But I love my little guy and wouldn't do anything different if I had to do it over.
