Other Turtle Discussion :: What's your favorite wild turtle?

Other than our beloved red ear slider or any currently captive pet turtles (musk, mud, box etc.), what is your number 1 favorite?

Mine just happens to be the glorious leatherback because it's the largest sea turtle there is. They're deeply endangered though.

EDIT: hmm, that's weird, I can't put "other" as an option

I guess I am in the "OTHER" category, I like the Mata-Mata, simply because it looks so weird.

I love mata matas They are so cool, face squished flat and all
They are known to be beasts, compared to the snappers. I always wanted a hatchling but they don't come in such small sizes

Mine is the Loggerheads because they lay their eggs on a beach near me so I get to see them and their babies. Soo Cute!

But Fav is the diamondback terrapin

I saw some wild northern diamondbacks near a shore this weekend near a shore in Three Village.
