I have been thinking about moving my turt from the tank its in to a pond in my small greenhouse, and I need to know if this is safe.

I guess that would depend on how hot it gets in there. Any idea what the temp is on a hot day?

Is there a specific reason you want to do this? You'll still need UVB light and other turtle related supplies for him - and I share Jen's concern about the air/water temperatures in there.

I'd be concerned for the same reason putting a turtle outside in a glass aquarium is dangerous--the glass could magnify the sun's rays and heat the water up too much.

Well the air temp inside get upto 102 deg. on a hot summer day im not sure what the water temp is but im sure it gets up to about 95-96 Deg. and about 90 Deg in the shade. and also to answer your question steve, i was thinking it would be cool to have a pet turt in the greenhouse to show off to friends and family.

It'll be way too hot to keep a slider in there but maybe there are other reptiles you can look into that would appreciate the heat.
