ok so i know that when the turtle like ticekls or whatever the other trutle its like a mateing thing or a territorial thing. but like if it is related to mateing will only the male do it or will the female do it to the male too. because i have 2 res and i know one is a male and im not sure what the other is but like they both go up to eachother and do that thing so like r they both males? or do both sexes do it?

if your turtles is not sexually ready (normally over 4"), then it is most likely a territorial thing, some turtles do it for territory, some do it for practice, whent hey are sexually active, it becomes a part of the mating dance, atm, dont worry about it, only worry about it if it happens to lead into fighting.

Males will do it to males and females to females if it's not part of the mating ritual.

You won't reliably be able to sex your turtles until the shell lengths are around 4 inches.
