Ok I know my snails go into a dormant phase but almost all of my yellow snails except for one went into it and they are just now floating around. Why would they all do that? Plus I can't find one of my snails now. My little black one which acted dead is now gone and I have looked everywhere in that tank.

Is there any reasn why all of my little snails would just go dormant for no reason? The temps are right, they have plenty of food, I can't figure out the reason.

Any ideas, any help?

Have you checked to see if they are alive? What kind of setup do you have them in?

They are in the tank with the turtle. As far as I know one of the snails is dead as the ghost shrimp are eating at it. I still have yet to find my little black snail.

Their setup is fine. They have the warm water, since they like the same temps the turtle does. They have plenty of plants, they have anacharis and once a week they get carrots (they love that stuff), and they have plenty of algae believe me. They get on the dock and go nuts. The water is fresh and there is a good filter system. My big snail and two of my little yellow ones are fine. I just worry about the one that keeps floating and where my black one went. Maybe the turtle ate him shell and all but that would be a first as usually he only eats the snail and leaves the shell.
