hey i just cleaned my turtles' cage yesterday and the tank is already foggy i got a filter but i don't know for sure if it works good but i do also have 3 other fish in there so i don't know if you could help me please do thanks

i also have water conditioner in there so i don't know what to do thanks

If it's a new filter it may not be cycled yet and that could cause the water to appear foggy. What size tank do you have and what type of filter are you using? Others may be able to help but we need a bit of info :)

It's a bacteria bloom...leave it alone, it will go away within 2 weeks. Just make sure you have a filter well enough equipt to handle the turtle load. Do you have a water test kit?

well my tank is a ten gallon tank hoping to get a bigger one soon but my filter is a micro clean 204 so thanks bye

This is a ten gallon tank? WHat size is the turtle and what kind of fish do you have in there? And do you havea test kit?

well my turtle is about the size of a half dollor i have 1 minnow 1 tropical fish "its a kind of shark" and a fish that is about the same size as the minnow but they seem to like it should i upgrade to a bigger tank???i just got my turtle and fish last week so i am a new owner so i don't know a lot if you could help me please do

Well, you know there is a huge chance your turtles will eat the fish right? If that is ok with you, no issue. Your turtle is tiny so your tank should be ok ffor now. Just make sure you havea powerful filter and do the right water changes so the tank isn't overloaded.

ok thanks giddy well i have another question is it true that res turtles adapt to the tank sizes like if they are in a huge 225 gal. tanks will they get big or if they are in a 10 gal tank will they stay small please reply thanks
