I found this site that breeds and sells turtles. They are breeding two headed turtles and no eyed red eared sliders! They may take good care of them, and ship them so that they arrive safely at the buyers door...But I feel sorry for these poor fellas! I Can't believe they are actually selling and breeding two headed and no eyed RES. It makes me angry. For some reason I feel they aren't taking good care of them....Maybe its just me........

It's not just you. Most of us here feel they aren't a reputable site. That's why there are site rules forbidding the promotion of their site (and any other online breeding site - I believe). That's why their name is blocked when you type it into a post. We don't want to encourage them by supporting their business. :(

I honestly wonder whether they do take good care of them prior to shipping. All I really see them wanting is to make a profit. There have been people on this site in the past who have ordered from online companies and their turt has died within a couple of weeks of receiving it.

Also, the turts with no eyes, two headed turts, and albino turts all require extra care, and do not have the life expectancy of a regular turt.

It is sad.

Purposely breeding turtles with these kind of issues is just plain cruel.
