I have a 1 1/2 year old painted turtle female in our pond (11x20') and have just added a pair of newly hatched red-eared sliders. The painted turtle seems to chase them around a lot. Is this just being inquisitive, or could she harm the babies? Do they get along in the wild? Thanks.

Welcome. In the wild, if they didn't get along, they'd be able to move away. If there's a big difference between their sizes, I'd keep them separate (and they should have been quarantined for a while, usually about 90 days, anyway).
