The other day, I was holding Siobhan (I take Siobhan out of the tank & dry him off every coupla days so I can make sure baby is still healthy & shell looking good) & sitting in front of Sheba's tank. I figured I would let Siobhan see his "big sister" so I held him up to Sheba's tank where she could see him thru the glass. She intently started looking at him, then started fluttering her nails at him thru the glass!!! It was hilarious. I was surprised to see this reaction because Siobhan is so tiny, I wouldn't think that she would be *flirting* with him, but maybe so.

Of course, I would NEVER put Siobhan in the tank with Sheba to see if she would flutter at him in the water, but I still thought it was interesting that she was fluttering her nails thru the glass (!).

How funny! Sheba's probably never flirted with anything more interesting than a rock before. I guess a rock makes Siobhan look pretty good!

I hate to say it, but I think it was probably Sheba's great chance to show the little turtle who runs the house. She looked at him, and thought, right well let's be sure he doesn't think he's moving into MY room. Or trying to share MY food. Ahhhhh. Sibling rivalry.
