Well today has been all kinds of excellent! First I made the happy mistake of wandering into a consignment shop and found an adorable sundress printed with turtles! And even better, it fit like it was made for me! Thrilled about that, I headed over to my mom's house, and as I walked in the door my phone rang - it was my best friend's mom asking me to turtle-sit Napoleon's brother! Not only that, but during the two weeks they'll be gone, she'll be visiting her son, and hopefully will push him to give me an answer about adopting him. I figure at least getting him to my place is a step in the right direction. Even if we don't get to keep him, I'm definitely buying a water heater for the time he's here and I'll send it home with him if he goes.

Maybe if the son won't give him to you, you could convince the parents to let you keep him until he comes home. They probably don't want to mess with him since they we kind of stuck with him. By the time the son comes home maybe he will see how happy he is and let you have him for good.
