We are building a pond and will put in UV lighting (underwater) for algae will this UV hurt the turtles at all? I know it doesnt bother the fish.

4 mini schnauzers, 1 cockateil, 1 RES, 3 Nubian Goats, 2 Roman Tufted Geese, 1 38 yo blind pony.
Our business is Safe Animal Rescue And Haven (SARAH).

This is a UV sterilizer to kill algae? It shouldn't hurt your turtles. I've read of others using the device.
