Other Turtle Discussion :: Swimming to what?

I have three turtles, and they all seem to prefer swimming into the glass rather than around the tank...all the turtles ive seen have doen this, but anyone know why?

I think they can't see that the glass wall is there and they think they're going to swim out into the room. When they get older they'll spend most of their time cruising around the tank instead of beating themselves up on the wall....except, of course, when they see you and think you're going to feed them!

lol yeah! evena fter theyve just been fed! they splash and splash its like grr you're staining the glass.
