Other Turtle Discussion :: caught Crush scaling the fence

so uh.......anyone ever found their turtles scaling the walls? I just walked outside to find Crush about a foot off the ground climbing up the fence. This is just a typical 8ft tall wooden fence. Scared me to death! I quickly (but discreetly, cause I didn't want to scare her and make her fall) ran over and got her and put her down. She was over the concrete too, not the dirt. If she had fallen she could have really hurt herself. GEESH!

I was just out watching her and she tried it again. She didn't actually get up this time tho. Fell sideways first.

I can't decide if I should wrap her in styrophome or put a black cape on her and call her BatTurtle.

I caught Spike half way out of a tupperware bin once. I had the dock in there with the black part hooked over the side, and she almost climbed out by wedging herself between the wall and the brace and scrabbling up the side. I walked over and said "Hey! You can't do that!" and she froze there looking at me like "You don't see the turtle scaling the side of the bin." I picked her up and unhooked the dock. Eeek!
