Hello.
Algea is starting to grow in my turtle tank there isnt much now but it is visable on the botom of the tank in one place.
And i think i can see very little algea on my turtles shell.
How can i get rid of algea??

For your turtle's shell, use a soft cloth or brush.

For your tank, if it's in sunlight, move it.

What's the water temp (warmth encourages algae)?

How often do you clean the tank and change the water?

the water temp is usualy about 78-82 f.
And i clean my tank every two weeks.
and the tank is not in sunlight.

Algae is very natural and not necessarily a bad thing. Do you notice it mostly under the basking lights? That's where it usually tends to grow the most. Algae can grow with even the tiniest amount of nutrients in the water. Even a cup of fresh water left in the sunlight will grow algae within a week or so just from the nutrients that are naturally found in tap water as well as what it pulls from the air (dust, pollen, bacteria, etc).
