I came home today from my monthly work Health and Safety meeting (I am the co-chair for the worker members of the committee), and I always say hello to all of my pets. Well Spanky was basking (as usual) and when he saw me, he became really excited and his tail was wagging like a dogs would  . It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Just wanted to share my little story and ask if anyone else has ever seen this from their turtles?

My turt wags his tail when I'm holding him sometimes--it's a warning that if I don't put him down, he's going to pee on me. :D

He did this for a good few minutes on his basking area, and then went into the water to continue his usual begging.

And I know what you mean about the peeing thing...... but this was nothing like the 'I'm freaking out because this giant lady is holding me' except for his tail, he was completely still.

It sounds like he's got a unique way of greeting you (perhaps he thinks it will help get him a treat). :)
