i was watching a show called home improvement and it is a comedynot this time. in one part of this show a res is tossed through the air and lands in wet cement. that F***ing pissed me off.(sorry for the f bomb)

I'd have to guess that it wasn't actually cement then. Could have been mud, which would have been fine except for the tossing part.

I've noticed that since I've had my turts, I'm more aware of the pets other ppl have and how they treat them. Like in one of the Rocky movies, he had a turtle in a fishbowl. Never would have noticed that before.

I don't think they would have really thrown the turt or put it in cement, I am from the UK so don't know how the TV complaints department would work with everyone else around the world works but in the UK they are very strict (I think) about the treatment animals have on shows etc.

And normally any 'controversial' scene etc that an animal is in would first have to be past by the department to see if they could proceed with it. And even if it is, they still get complaints and that could end up with the show being fined depending on what actually happened.

So if what you seen was just a cumulation of different shots or camera trickery then I guess the RES wouldn't have been in harm. (I hope!)
