Well it's been a busy month! LOL I think the last time I was here I had 17 turtle's well it went to 24 then I lost my Lexus, the 10 year old 3 inch res. She was just to tiny and weak to struggle through all the issues she had. I have said this many many times and will keep saying it....DO NOT PUT VITA SHELL ON A WATER TURTLE.....it does not allow them to dry out and shed like they are supposed to do. My poor Lexus suffered alot from the last owner useing that Crud daily for 10 years and was unable to shed. Picture a very heavy person in a wetsuit 3 times to small for them and how uncomfortable that would be. My vet and I tried to save her but it was to late she died in my hands on October 23rd.
That was the bad part, now for the good! I got a few more, Kameko and Ryoshi are two red ears from a very nice owner on here, they are both over 5 inches and very healthy.
Midori is my little boy Japanese Pond turtle from a breeder friend and he is also very healthy and doing great.
Then there are the twins...Honu and Kobi both are 3 toed boxie babys at one inch each, both doing great and eating fine.
I am also a possibility for a large 35 pound sulcata male which depending on what happens could be here in the morning. That is a very long story and I will tell that at another time if he comes to stay here.
So that puts me at 23 all together
