I've just given up and let him move the fake plant where he wants to. He seems to like it closer to the middle of the tank so he can swim thru it. But it moves constantly around that end of the tank from him playing with it. It doesn't look bad, and it's weighted so it stays at the bottom, so I figure as long as it's making him happy that's all that matters

As soon as I get my camera fixed or get access to one i'm going to post some pics.

haha, I've thought that so many times with my turtle Leo. She's like a bulldozer in the tank, only a few hardy fake plants have survived in there with her.
