Out of all the tribes that exist now, only the Peruvians actually hunt people. The others eat those who have died of natural causes. Sorry! I just had to clarify.

Our teeth are shaped so that we are omnivores, and we have been that way for thousands of years. In my home country they eat dogs, which is an intelligent animal, but even more intelligent is the pig. Who is right or wrong? It's just the food decisions cultures make based on where they live, and which animals they think are good pets. Over here we eat fish and keep them as pets!

I will certainly never eat a turtle because I was raised to eat different more available meats, but if I were still struggling back in Asia and only had a turtle to eat or a rabbit or whatever, I would give respect to the animal and eat it to stay alive. Hopefully it's not that way over here

I agree with what you said. But dogs are pretty unique animals because of their social nature. Once a dog has adopted a human as his family, he will risk his life to defend or protect that human. Not many other animals have that kind of loyalty or intelligence. I personally think eating a dog is worse than a monkey or an ape (which I also think is repulsive) or any other animal for that matter. You can take just about any dog off the street anywhere and make friends with it in a matter of minutes. They are just so trusting of humans and generally good natured and affectionate. People who can't see that are just plain cold IMO.

I know, when I took a trip to Vietnam, they had a monkey in a cage outside of a restaurant. I feel sorry for that monkey, but last year my biology teacher showed us a video of a monkey eating another species of monkeys! The reasons dogs trust humans so much, is because we've kept them as our best friends for thousands of years of captivity. The way they kill dogs are so cruel over there too, that I couldn't describe it to you or you'd throw up on your keyboard!
