i had to do one of the saddest things today.
i ahd to dismantle my hatchlings tank
for he/her passed away.
it sucked i hate loosing pets ive decided not to replace him tho im just gunna stick with twiggy and focus my time and energy on her

I think its a good thing that your not gunna replace him so you and consentrate on twiggy

Sorry to hear. It must have been difficult to look at that empty tank.

I'm sorry. It is a very sad thing to do. When I once lost a tiny hatchling, I kept the tank up for days, just as it was, even with the lighting going on an off. :(

Sorry you lost the little one. but maybe he just wasn't strong enough. It happens sometimes. I thought I lost my male baby last February, but he pulled through. It was hard to look at him when he was sick. Now you will work on your other turtle...keep Twiggy healthy...you can do it.

thank you all for your suport and condolences
but in all and all news my brother took the tank and wants to get a frog or somthing i told him he can have it i hop he gets a frog it be neat

Frogs are interesting. Industrial Girl has one that she's kept for years and years.

newts need special care, they need very cold temps or they'll get skin fungus.
