Well I got a YBS today :) 1.5 inches , and got a 45g tank and water level is 5 inches and I'am using a Fulval 4 plus but there is no water comming out of the top and its making a funny sound???
Is the water level high enough???

The YBS shell is kinda flexible so I'am going to go get some snails tomorrow!

No it isn't high enough. I have one of those and the water has to be like 3/4 of the way up the filter. You can lay it on it's side though. If it still isn't pushing water out after that, take the top off (while it's still plugged in) and make sure the little blue fan is spinning, if it's not just spin it with your finger and it should start up. Once it starts, you can put it back together.

New turtles, especially new hatctlings take a few days to destress from the moving and they wont eat during this period

Do lookout for other symtoms

But in this case just give him peace and quite
And im sure hell eat =)

Congrats on the new addition to your family!

Feel free to fill up that tank more. Your turtle won't drown. They are natural swimmers & just think that the babies are born in lakes where the water is 10 feet deep or more. You can buy a few plastic plants where he can rest on the leaves in case you are concerned about him getting tired of swimming all the time.

I need to wait till I get a floating Basking Dock till I raise the water level , I was going to get him/her some snails yesterday but the fish area was shut down (something about stressed fish???) but they still got me that water plant that I cant remember the name of , I'am going to go to the pet store today and pick up 2 more plants and some snails.

He/she was sleeping on the plant last night It was so cute :D .

Also when I get the water level raise I am going to stick in the air rock I got him (hope it stays in place).

UPDATE

Well he/she has started to eats some lettuce today (shell size) but not much and he only ate 1 pellet today but I guess he/she is still getting used to his/her new home.

Well I'am going shopping for a basking dock and some other stuff tomorrow , just to ask would a baby turtle be able to eat a Golden-apple-snail???
