I'll be leaving this Sunday and returning the following Saturday on a trip to Los Cabos, Mexico. I've tried to think out everything in advance for Koopa. Here's what's going on:

My mom & dad will be here at the house from Sunday night till Wednesday afternoon with the kids. The lights are on timers. The tank was cleaned last week, so I think we are ok there. I've written out his "menu" for mom on a day per day basis and I think she'll be fine feeding him.

The only thing is when the kids get out of school on Wed they will be going back across town to their place since the kids are out for Easter this coming Thursday and Friday. We will not be home until late Saturday afternoon/early evening. Will Koopa be ok by himself without food for 2 full days if she feeds veggies before they leave Wed afternoon and we feed him when we get back Saturday?

Thanks guys for the help, and I hope to have some nice pics to post for you all when we get back. :)

Sounds like you've got everything covered. He'll be just fine for 2 days. You could leave him for a week without food if you had to (but I wouldn't)

Thanks Jen. I've got everything taken care of and we are off in the morning. I just wanted to make sure since it's the first time we've left him alone for so long... and he's still a baby to me. I guess all our kids (human & animal) have to grow up sometime, huh? :)
