Petri follows me around from inside the tank. If I'm standing over the tank he splashes around at the top and puffs his neck up like a frog.
I don't really think of it as begging, though, so I don't feel like I need to feed him. Just like when my cats rub on my legs and cry. They're being friendly.

What most of us term as begging is when your turtle sees you and tries to climb up the wall of its tank, swimming frantically.

oh, my turtles Bi Bi and Fi Fi always do that...lol.. climbin the wall of the tank.

I let my turtle walk around my living room & she will follow me around, walk across my feet, and stare up at me (almost looks like she is trying to get up on her hind legs, like a dog!). It's really cute.
