me and my sis just got two hatchlings and don't know if they're boys or girls or one girl and one boy. is there any way to tell?

Not until they are over four inches long (shell length from tip to tip not including curve).

Males will have really long claws and females will have short ones. That is one way to tell. Post a photo with closeups on the claws and also on the underside of the tail.

i can't really post one. my sis knows how, but she says that the pics of the turties show up blurry.

Unfortunately you will have to wait a while for them to go thru puberty, LOL. Boys have unusually long front nails & a much longer/thicker tail. Girls have teeny/tiny nails with a small (short) tail.
