On a related note, seeing pictures of big ol' Sheba basking on her ramp inspired me to get one of them to replace my waterlogged Zoomed dock. I saw them online before but didn't think they looked sturdy enough, but if it's big enough for Sheba...anyway I put it in last night and when i came downstairs this morning my little buddy was up on the top level doing the superman pose with his eyes closed, he was lovin it! :D So i just wanted to give Sheba (and industrialgirl) a big thank you for the inspiration!

Thanks guys!!! Glad the acrylic dock is working for you! :D

For the record, Sheba weighs in at 4.4 pounds (Vet told me that when I took her in one day for a check up).

LOL, I would say that Sheba is heavier than she looks, but honestly, she actually LOOKS heavy too when you see her in real life. She is very thick thru the middle.....kinda like a burger king double whopper sandwich. I have to use both hands to carry her since she is definitely a handful.

Glad Tobi loves her dock!!! :D

3 lbs, wow, that's a chunk 'o turtle you got there! :)

Yup, I hear ya on the one-handed thing.....I can't carry Sheba with one hand either since she is very strong & can get out of my hands. I have to put one hand on top, and the other hand underneath to support her weight.

I'd like to weigh Ralph, but I don't have a reliable small scale.

Lol! I've got a 7 year old cat who's 17lbs 10 oz!
We took him to the vet recently, and my dad was looking at a chart that had average cat weights, and said "Hmm, the average weight for a domestic short hair is 8-10lbs... We have two cats!!"

xP He's just big boned though... REALLY!
