Other Turtle Discussion :: My turtle is a goofball

So I have my 20gal tank for my 2 hatchlings Donnie and Darko sitting by a window, and a turtle dock (Beige thing with black bars and suction cups everyone here seems to have) across the short end, so they can get some sun when it is nice out and I can open up the window. The sloped part has maybe and inch or two before it meets the glass side.

Anyways, I see darko sunning, and walk up to look at him. He sees me, flips out, and tries running away down the slope into the water, only to get stuck between the glass and the turtle dock, legs flailing and water going everywhere lol. I gave him a little poke on the rear end and he shot into the water and hid (From embarrassment or fear... you decide haha)

I guess baby turtles grow fast, since he fit through there before.... or maybe he's just too fat to do that anymore

Needless to say I moved the dock. Silly goofballs!

they do grow quick dont they.
would you like your turt to stay small and cute or bigger the better?
im not sure, they sure were cuter when they were babies lol, i still think they are cute.
