WELL, SICK OR NOT SICK, I WAS STILL GOING TO TRY AND GET MY TURTS TO EAT THIER GREENS.
THIS MORNING I PUT SOME GREEN LETTUCE IN THE TANK.
IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE BIT BUT I THOUGHT THEY WOULD TRY.
I TOOK IT BACK OUT AFTER A WHILE AND THEN PUT A LARGE PIECE IN.
I LEFT MY ROOM TO GIVE THEM SOME PEACE.
I CAME BACK IN AND NOTICED SQUIRT CHOMPING AWAY AT THE GREEN LETTUCE.
I WAS SO RELIEVED THAT SHE WAS EATING THE LETTUCE.
STILL, I HAVE NOT NOTICED ROCKY EATING IT.
HE PROBABLY HAS, I JUST HAVNT SEEN IT YET.
I AM SO HAPPY THAT THEY ARE EATING AND BECOMING A LOT MORE HEALTHY.
2YEARS WITHOUT GREENS
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

Oh that's great! My turtle is just starting to be a good vegetable eater, he went for his first 4 years without seeing any, and when i first started giving them to him he wouldn' even look at them. Only feeding pellets every other day helped a lot. Now when i put in a piece of lettuce he starts chomping away at it right away, unless i'm standing too close and he thinks he can beg some pellets out of me. If Rocky isn't eating them yet he/she will soon i'm sure. And i hope you are starting to feel better!

You should offer them everyday. Even if they don't always eat them, having them in there will at least get them curious about it.

That's great! Veggies are such a good addition to a turtle's diet.
Glad you're feeling better-ish :-)

Yay! Maybe your turtles felt sorry for you and started being the good little turtles by eating their veggies!
