Hello. I have had my red ear slider for about three years and I am still learning about it. ( i don't know if it is a he or she yet).

Three years? How big is your turtle (shell length not including the curve)? If your turt doesn't have long, spiky front nails and a large, broad tail with the anal vent closer to the tail tip, I'm thinking you've got a lady! :)
